Draymond says Warriors-Cavs isn't inevitable: 'We've lost a lead before'

Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors aren't making travel plans for Cleveland just yet.

Even as the league's two juggernauts appear to be on a clear collision course for a Finals rubber match, with the Cavaliers leading the Eastern Conference finals 2-0 and the Warriors up 3-0 in the West, Green and Co. aren't looking past the San Antonio Spurs just yet.

"It's not inevitable," Green said of a potential Warriors-Cavs rematch, according to Tim Bontemps of the Washington Post. "We've lost a lead before."

No team has ever come back from 3-0 down to win an NBA playoff series, but then, no team had ever come back from 3-1 down in the Finals to win the title before the Cavs stunned Golden State last year.

So even though the Spurs are overmatched and badly banged up, and may well be without their best player again for Monday's elimination game, the Warriors can probably be forgiven for not getting ahead of themselves.
