Durant: My flagrant foul for pushing Gobert is why NBA gets called 'soft'

Some people think the NBA has gone soft, and Kevin Durant believes he was on the wrong end of a call that encapsulates the problem.

The Golden State Warriors forward got into a "kerfuffle" with Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert during Saturday's Game 3 victory.

Durant's shove and reaction earned him a tech and a flagrant-1 foul.

"It's just basketball," the superstar told reporters following the 102-91 victory, as quoted by ESPN's Chris Haynes. "You push me, I pushed him, and you move on. But that's why they call our league soft ... because they call a flagrant for stuff like that.

"But I'm sure he didn't mind if we just moved on. I didn't mind if we just moved on with the play."

Gobert didn't confirm nor deny he agrees with that, only offering the following comment on the play: "I pushed him to get the ball and he didn't like it."
