Watch: Lowry tells reporters to ask Powell questions after career night

Kyle Lowry wanted to make sure reporters got the story right.

The star of Game 5 wasn't Lowry, it wasn't his Toronto Raptors backcourt partner DeMar DeRozan, it wasn't even Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

It was Norman Powell, who earned his first ever trip to the postgame podium following a career night. Powell took a seat like a proud son between Lowry and DeRozan, and when the line of questioning diverted away from Powell, Lowry was sure to keep things right on track by keeping the spotlight on the Raptors' surprise savior.

After all, it was Powell who had a team-best 25 points on a perfect 4-of-4 shooting from deep, with several poster dunks, and the second-best plus-minus on the night. He deserved all the love for his breakout performance.
