Pelicans' Cheick Diallo: Recalled from D-League
Diallo was recalled Sunday from the D-League's Greensboro Swarm, Justin Verrier of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis:
Diallo has played in just 11 games for the Pelicans this season, so despite being recalled, there's a very good chance he doesn't see the court in Sunday's game against the Nuggets, especially if DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) is able to play. The rookie was fully expected to spend ample time in the D-League after coming out of Kansas as a raw prospect, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him head back to Greensboro in short order to receive extended playing time.
