Knicks' Carmelo Anthony: Out Thursday with knee soreness

Anthony has a sore left knee and will be unavailable for Thursday's tilt against the Trail Blazers.

Analysis:

This is the first news of Anthony having a knee injury, though it was reported on Tuesday that he would likely be seeing less minutes moving forward. The Knicks are probably playing it safe with Anthony, as they are well out of the playoff hunt and may be interested in seeing what their younger guys are capable of. Fantasy owners still probably shouldn't drop Anthony, but his status for all upcoming games should be monitored, as it's possible this won't be the last time he's listed as unavailable with little to no warning earlier in the day.
