Report: Jarrett Jack to hold 'open audition' for interested teams
William Hauser / USA TODAY Sports
Jarrett Jack is hoping to put his fingerprints on the 2016-17 NBA season, and he'll reportedly give teams a chance to see what he can do in the near future.
The veteran point guard is close to returning from the ACL surgery he underwent nearly a full year ago, and will soon hold an "open audition" for any teams interested in his services, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
Jack, 33, averaged 12.8 points and a career-high 7.4 assists in 32 games for the Brooklyn Nets last season, before suffering the season-ending injury in January. The Nets waived him in the summer, and the Atlanta Hawks did the same just before the start of the season, despite having signed him to a fully guaranteed one-year minimum deal.
