Look: Celtics' Thomas credits Tom Brady for crazy pass vs. Hornets

Isaiah Thomas has apparently been picking up some pointers from New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Late in the fourth quarter of the Boston Celtics' 96-88 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night, Thomas threw a ridiculous overhead pass into the hands of teammate Jae Crowder for the easy layup.

Thomas retweeted the highlight video Saturday and gave Brady a shoutout:

Thomas met Brady in July during the Celtics' recruiting pitch to Kevin Durant, admitting afterward that he was "starstruck." The two exchanged numbers, and Thomas said he planned to stay in touch with the quarterback.
