Lakers' Nick Young: Game-time decision Sunday

Young (calf) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt with the Knicks, and will face a minute restriction if he's cleared to play, Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Analysis:

A strained right calf has kept Young on the sideline for the past six games, but after logging a full practice Saturday, it's possible that he'll return to action Sunday, despite indicating earlier in the week that he was targeting a return Monday against the Kings. Even if Young is back a day earlier than anticipated, the fact that he'll be restricted makes him an unappealing DFS option, and suggests that the likes of Lou Williams and Brandon Ingram may not be in line for significant reductions in playing time. A final update on Young's status figures to be available closer to tip time.
