Mavericks' Seth Curry: Ruled out for Monday

Curry (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Hornets, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.

Analysis:

Curry was able to go through the Mavs' shootaround earlier Monday, but after taking part in pregame warmups, the team will hold him out for another game as a safeguard. The backup guard is expected to return to full practice Tuesday and will be considered day-to-day moving forward. Curry's next chance to play will come Wednesday against his former Kings squad, but according to Eddie Sefko of The Dallas Morning News, Curry is already being viewed as doubtful for that contest. For the duration of Curry's absence, Devin Harris and Jonathan Gibson should cover most of the minutes in the backcourt behind starters Deron Williams and Wesley Matthews.
