Billy Donovan complains Nick Young traveled on game-winner
Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Billy Donovan was none too pleased with his team's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday.
Donovan complained that the go-ahead triple by Nick Young should not have counted since he appeared to have traveled prior to the shot.
"I'm going to look at the film. It looked from the bench that Young certainly got a lot of steps in to get that shot off," Donovan deadpanned, according to Fred Katz of the Norman Transcript.
Young definitely did walk with the ball, but it's unclear as to how many of those shuffle steps were taken. Either way, Donovan has a right to gripe.
That being said, the Thunder still had about five seconds to reverse their fortunes, but point guard Russell Westbrook heaved up an awful three that rimmed out.
