Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez will rest for Monday night's contest against the Los Angeles Clippers, according to Rowan Kavner of clippers.com.
This marks the second time the Nets have rested the 28-year-old, sitting him in a back-to-back against the Milwaukee Bucks last month.
The 7-footer has put up his usual solid numbers for Brooklyn this season, averaging 19.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks, while posting a player efficiency rating of 21.84.
The Nets are currently battling a number of injuries, with Jeremy Lin, Isaiah Whitehead, and Caris LeVert all missing time recently.
