Andrew Wiggins is blossoming right in front of our eyes.

The third-year forward added a masterpiece 47-point performance on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers in a continuation of his breakout campaign.

Wiggins hit 14-of-21 from the field and made 17-of-22 from the line to shatter his previous career-high of 36 that he set in Tuesday's loss to the Brooklyn Nets.

To put his 47 points into perspective, it matches Kevin Garnett's career high. Only three players (Mo Williams, Kevin Love, Corey Brewer) have scored more in a Timberwolves uniform.

Or put it another way: Wiggins single-handedly matched the combined scoring total of the Lakers' starting five.
