As America stayed glued to election coverage on Tuesday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves fell 119-100 to the Brooklyn Nets despite a career night from Andrew Wiggins.
Wiggins led all scorers, dropping 36 points in 40 minutes on the floor. He also knocked down a career-high six 3-pointers - in seven attempts - and recorded eight rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Wiggins' previous career high was 35 points - also in a loss - in January against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Wiggins is now averaging 23.2 points on 46-percent shooting through six games, but the Timberwolves have lost five of those.
