Warriors' Klay Thompson: Hits first seven shots in runaway win
Thompson generated 20 points (8-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt), four assists and two rebounds in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 116-95 stomping of the Mavericks.
Analysis:
Thompson's shooting slump seems to have officially ended, as the All-Star guard knocked down his first seven shots of Wednesday's game to bury the Mavericks by the end of the first quarter, scoring 18 of his 20 points in the period. Even with two excellent games in a row, Thompson is still sitting at a 25 percent mark from three-point range on the season, but history suggests he'll hover closer to 40 percent the rest of the way.
