Los Angeles Lakers sophomore forward Larry Nance Jr. suffered a sprained right wrist on a hard fall during Thursday's summer league contest, the team announced.

That should come as a relief to both player and team. It was initially reported that Nance had fractured the third metacarpal in his right hand, but an MRI revealed no fractures or ligament damage of any kind. He's listed as day to day.

Nance averaged 5.5 points and five rebounds per game while shooting 52.7 percent from the field in his rookie season with the Lakers. In four games at the Las Vegas Summer League, he averaged nine points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.8 steals, and 1.8 blocks.
