The Boston Celtics showed off their big free-agent acquisition Friday, and the local baseball team might ask to borrow him.
Al Horford was on hand at Fenway Park for the ceremonial first pitch and tossed a strike to fellow countryman David Ortiz prior to the Boston Red Sox-Tampa Bay Rays game.
The four-time All-Star reportedly agreed to a four-year, $113-million deal with the Celtics following nine-years in Atlanta.
The Red Sox entered the night 46-38, but their pitching staff ranks 21st in the league in ERA.
