The Charlotte Hornets have reached an agreement with free-agent point guard Ramon Sessions on a two-year, $12-million contract.
This will be Sessions' second stint with the franchise, having played for the team between 2012-14 when it went under the Bobcats moniker.
The 30-year-old Nevada product spent the past two seasons competing for the Washington Wizards, averaging 9.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, and three assists over the course of 110 games.
Sessions will presumably step in and fill the backup role left vacant by the departing Jeremy Lin, who recently agreed to return to New York and join the Brooklyn Nets on a reported three-year, 36-million contract.
