Forward Evan Turner is departing Beantown and making his way to Rip City.
The former second overall pick has reached agreement on a four-year, $70-million contract with the Portland Trail Blazers.
Portland had shown significant interest in Chandler Parsons, but he's heading to the Memphis Grizzlies on a max contract of $94 million over four seasons.
Turner, 27, was an unrestricted free agent after spending the past two seasons with the Boston Celtics, where he averaged 10 points, five rebounds, and five assists over the course of 163 games.
It was previously reported that the Ohio State product had six teams on his radar in free agency, with the Celtics, New York Knicks, and Los Angeles Lakers among the group.
