Look: How NBA players stack up against famous landmarks, animals
Basketball is, traditionally, a sport that favors tall people.
To show just how big the NBA is, the team at Fanatics decided to stack up the league against famous landmarks and gigantic animals. The study produced some interesting findings, like how it would take about 442 players standing on one another's heads to reach the height of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.

The weight of those 442 players? A whopping 98,147 pounds, which doesn't even come close to the weight of the largest animal known to have lived on Earth. It would take 1,801 players weighing 222.1 pounds each to equal a 400,000-pound blue whale.
Here's how many multiples of LeBron James and Stephen Curry it would take:

The study also looked at how NBA teams stack up against one another. The New Orleans Pelicans came out on top with a total height of 111 feet and 7 inches, while the Dallas Mavericks are the shortest at just under 100 feet.

The Pelicans are also the heaviest team in the NBA, tipping the scale at a combined weight of 3,769 pounds.
