SLAM recreates iconic 2003 LeBron cover with Ben Simmons

LeBron James was declared an All-Star by SLAM even before he played an NBA game in the magazine's High School All-Americans issue from July 2003.
Thirteen years later, SLAM has recreated the iconic cover with potential No. 1 overall draft pick Ben Simmons.
Ben Simmons is on the cover of SLAM. There's a good reason why it might look familiar. https://t.co/o5a3l4iRvh pic.twitter.com/ahiZEaj7cD

"I don't want to come in slacking," Simmons told SLAM's Franklyn Calle in the accompanying article. "I want to be the hardest worker. I want to be one of the guys that people look at as soon as he comes off the floor and say, 'He's one of the hardest workers every time he's on the floor.' For me to do that would be huge. I'm looking forward to it."
