Parker gives Pop a break, takes over Spurs' huddle
Great coaching isn't just about Xs and Os. Sometimes, it's about knowing how and when to delegate responsibility.
San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich is as good as they come, and he knew late in Friday night's Game 3 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder that it was time to hand the reins off to veteran point guard Tony Parker.
Parker, who had perhaps his best game of this postseason, held the rest of the Spurs at attention as he talked expressively and tried to get them all on the same page during a pivotal timeout.
