Players gave Kobe 'ass cream' as retirement gift on All-Star weekend
Despite requests otherwise, Kobe Bryant's farewell tour has been about as majestic as one can be, with video montages and retirement presents greeting him at seemingly every arena.
And while most NBA teams have done their part to make Bryant's final season as special as possible, his most memorable experience was one of the least publicized, taking part during a private dinner on All-Star weekend arranged by Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, and Dwyane Wade.
It was during that dinner where Bryant received his more humorous set of gifts, a collection that included reading glasses, a cane, denture adhesive, and hemorrhoid cream.
"I think all of the gifts they gave me, they all go hand in hand," Bryant told ESPN's Baxter Holmes. "I can use them all simultaneously, aside from the ass cream."
Bryant's final season will wrap up Wednesday against the Utah Jazz, when the 37-year-old will face the Staples Center crowd for the final time.
