NBA Game Summary - New York at San Antonio

San Antonio, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Iman Shumpert's go-ahead tip-in with 23.4 seconds left lifted the New York Knicks to a 105-101 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night.

The game was tied at 101-101 when Carmelo Anthony missed a left corner three, but the rebound ricocheted high up into the air. Shumpert leapt high to bank in the tip-in and give the Knicks a 103-101 lead.

Marco Belinelli was off the mark on a triple from the top of the arc for San Antonio and Anthony hit a pair of free throws to seal the outcome.

Shumpert had 27 points and six rebounds, while Anthony added 27 points and 12 boards for New York, which snapped a three-game losing streak.

Belinelli nailed six 3-pointers and finished with 32 points for the Spurs, who had a three-game winning streak come to an end.

A Shumpert left corner 3 staked New York to a 94-85 lead with 4:49 left, but the Spurs used a 13-2 run to surge in front.

Belinelli and Tony Parker nailed triples to begin the swing before Beno Udrih sank two free throws. Belinelli then hit another 3 and Kawhi Leonard made two free throws to tie the game. Tim Duncan's layup capped the flurry and gave San Antonio a 98-96 edge with 2:01 to play.

Anthony then drove in for a layup before treys by Shumpert and Belinelli knotted the tilt with 37 ticks on the clock.

The Knicks led 26-25 after a quarter of play and 52-47 at the break.

New York's advantage reached as high as 11 in the third before the visitors settled for an 81-75 cushion heading into the fourth.
