Custer stayed on a roll Monday evening at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The veteran driver of the No. 00 Ford started fourth on the grid and raced inside the Top 10 the full 300-miles. The race would evolve into a fuel mileage battle and Custer would decide to go that strategy route and bypass a late pit stop. He'd stretch the fuel to the end and outlast Austin Hill to cross the finish line third at the checkered flag. It was Custer's fifth Top 5 of the season and extended his current Top-10 streak to six races.
