Ben Rhodes: Leads Vegas Truck Practice

Rhodes was fastest in Happy Hour Practice for the Ecosave 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Friday afternoon. He turned a fast lap of 178.400 mph.

Analysis:

The veteran driver of the No. 99 Ford truck continued his strong start to the season and led the lone practice ahead of pole qualifying at Las Vega. Rhodes would edge Ty Majeski to lead the session at the 1.5-mile Nevada oval. He's a one-time Las Vegas winner and looks to be a top contender to win Friday night's Ecosave 200.
