Kyle Busch: Crash and DNF at Texas
Busch crashed and finished 34th in the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Busch need to grab a Top-10 finish Sunday at Texas to keep his hopes of advancing in the playoffs well and alive. However, the potential for a Top 10 was dashed on lap 74. His No. 8 Chevrolet would break lose transiting turns 1 and 2 at TMS and slide hard up into the wall. The damage would be pretty extensive. The No. 8 RCR team would be unable to make enough repairs in time before the clock expired. Busch would be retired with his sixth DNF of the season and a major blow in the point standings.
