Jones' management 'confident he will be released' once facts explained
Jon Jones' management team issued a statement Tuesday regarding their client's arrest in New Mexico for a probation violation.
The 28-year-old UFC fighter has maintained his innocence since breaking the news to Ariel Helwani on "The MMA Hour," and his team sounds confident his story will stand.
"Jon and his team are taking this very seriously, and we will let the legal process play out," representatives said in a statement released to MMA Fighting. "We are confident he will be released once he has an opportunity to explain to the judge the facts in this case."
Jones' team is doing everything in their power to expedite this process:
Jones team is hopeful he could be in front of a judge as early as tomorrow. My understanding is he remains in custody until that happens.

Helwani also wrote that sources close to Jones believe this legal situation will not prevent him from fighting Daniel Cormier at UFC 197 on April 23.
