Conor McGregor Budweiser TV ad banned in Ireland

Ireland's national public service broadcaster has banned a Budweiser ad starring Conor McGregor for being too appealing to children.

RTE decided not to air Budweiser's "Dream Big" commercial due to its inspirational message in connection to the brand and the popularity of McGregor, reports the Sunday Business Post, according to Will Slattery of Independent.ie.

Advertising guidelines forbid "heroes of the young" from participating in advertisements for alcohol, and RTE judged the ad fell into that category.
