Lawler, Condit make weight ahead of title clash at UFC 195
Let 2016 officially begin.
Set to kick off the new year with the welterweight title on the line, champion Robbie Lawler and challenger Carlos Condit made weight Friday ahead of their UFC 195 headliner on Saturday night.
Things got respectfully intense between "Ruthless" and the aptly nicknamed "Natural Born Killer," as neither man broke eye contact during their extended staredown.
In the evening's co-main event, Andrei Arlovski will try to continue his storybook career resurgence against jack-of-all-trades heavyweight Stipe Miocic. As is expected of mid-sized heavyweights, both men came in well under the 265-pound limit.
