Donald Cerrone moves up to welterweight to face Tim Means at UFC Fight Night 82

Donald Cerrone, one of the UFC's most active fighters, isn't going to sit around and lick his wounds following a failed bid at the lightweight title.

Instead, "Cowboy" is jumping back into the fray, moving up to welterweight to face Tim Means in the main event of UFC Fight Night 82 on Feb. 21, the promotion announced Friday night prior to weigh-ins for UFC 195.

One of the lightweight division's foremost purveyors of violence, Cerrone was blitzed by champion Rafael dos Anjos at UFC on FOX 17, losing via TKO in just 66 seconds. Prior to the dos Anjos loss, Cerrone was on an absolute tear, racking up eight consecutive victories and counting Eddie Alvarez, Edson Barboza, and former WEC nemesis Benson Henderson among his high profile scalps.

In Tim Means, Cerrone has found a willing dance partner in a potential tango of ultraviolence. A dangerous finisher, "The Dirty Bird" is 5-2 in his UFC career, with three of those victories coming via either submission, knockout, or TKO.
