McGregor on Aldo: 'His shady ass doesn't get (drug) tested over there in Brazil'

The sun shines. Water is wet. Conor McGregor talks smack.

The interim UFC featherweight champion continued his verbal evisceration of 145-pound kingpin Jose Aldo this week, calling out the champion for the drug-test drama that unfolded in Brazil before their scheduled matchup at UFC 189.

"I got tested. I get tested constantly, it's his shady ass that doesn't get tested over there in Brazil," McGregor told Combate, according to MMAFighting.com's Guilherme Cruz. "All this corruption is still over there. Some police officer from the gym arrested the guy who was taking the test. That is the shadiest sh-t I’ve ever heard in my life. So, I take the test, he doesn't. Test his ass!"

Drug Free Sport director Ben Mosier showed up at Aldo's gym to administer a random drug test prior to UFC 189, but visa issues caused the sample to be discarded. Aldo eventually provided a new sample the next day, and tested negative for banned substances.

Ultimately, Aldo pulled out of the bout with a rib injury, and McGregor captured the interim title with a second-round TKO of late-replacement Chad Mendes. Barring any setbacks, the two will finally exchange heavy leather at UFC 194.

"He should've been tested right now, today or this whole period," McGregor said about Aldo's recent stint in Nevada when they both appeared at the UFC's "Go Big" press conference. "If he wasn't, that's disgraceful. We'll see. I'll ask if he was or was not tested."
