Ben Fodor is set to make his World Series of Fighting debut against Emmanuel Walo at WSOF 20 on April 10.

Fodor moonlights as superhero "Phoenix Jones," leader of the Rain City Superhero movement looking to clean up the streets of Seattle.

The subject of a recent ESPN profile, Fodor rekindled his MMA career in an attempt to fund his crime fighting gig, and he chose to ink a deal with WSOF because it wasn't trying to eliminate "Phoenix Jones" from his life.

"They didn't want me to stop being Phoenix Jones," Fodor told Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour. "The other contracts had a lot of clauses about what you could and could not do. And it didn't exactly say 'stop being Phoenix Jones,' but it did sort of say that. It's like, eight weeks before a fight you can't be engaged in a risky or mischievous behavior. And other contracts said that they had the rights to the Phoenix Jones name, so they were going to make dolls and action figures and stuff."

Fodor's older brother, Caros Fodor, is a UFC and Strikeforce veteran currently under contract with the Singapore-based ONE Championship.
