Diaz, 40, last fought in MMA in 2022, when he submitted Tony Ferguson at UFC 279. He's since competed twice in boxing, losing to Paul and defeating Jorge Masvidal.
Meanwhile, Perry's last Octagon appearance dates back to 2021. He suffered a unanimous decision loss to Daniel Rodriguez in his final UFC fight. The 34-year-old has stayed busy in bare-knuckle fighting, posting a 6-0 record since his first BKFC bout in '22.
The fight between Diaz and Perry is part of a triple-headliner that also includes a bout between Francis Ngannou and Felipe Lins.
