No. 1 middleweight contender Robert Whittaker is out of his UFC 275 fight versus Marvin Vettori due to an injury he suffered in training camp, he announced Wednesday.
Whittaker indicated he could return to the Octagon a couple of months after June.
The former titleholder was scheduled to meet Vettori on June 11 in his first bout since unsuccessfully challenging Israel Adesanya for the championship in February.
Whittaker is 12-2 over his last 14 fights, with his only losses coming against Adesanya.
