A Dublin pub owned by UFC star Conor McGregor was targeted in an attack Wednesday night.
"After hours last night, it appears that criminals made an unprovoked effort to inflict damage to the Black Forge Inn," the pub's management said in a statement to MMA Fighting's Damon Martin.
Two Molotov cocktails, or petrol bombs, were thrown at the pub, and more were apparently found at the scene, reports The Mirror's Donagh Corby.
McGregor wasn't on the premises at the time, no one was injured, and the establishment wasn't damaged. The Black Forge Inn is open for its regular hours as of Thursday.
Police are investigating the "attempted criminal damage," they confirmed to Corby.
McGregor purchased The Black Forge Inn in 2019 for about $2.2 million.
The former two-division champion is expected to return to the Octagon in 2022 after breaking his leg in a fight with Dustin Poirier last summer.
