Report: Rozenstruik to fight Ngannou at UFC Fight Night in March

Jairzinho Rozenstruik called for a matchup against Francis Ngannou - and the UFC heavyweight's wish was granted.

Rozenstruik (10-0) and Ngannou (14-3) have agreed to fight in the main event of UFC Fight Night on Mar. 28 in Columbus, Ohio, according to Brett Okamoto of ESPN.

A former professional kickboxer, Rozenstruik knocked out Alistair Overeem on Dec. 7 to remain undefeated in his MMA career. The 31-year-old from Suriname won four bouts in 2019.

Rozenstruik asked for a fight against Ngannou immediately after beating Overeem.

Ngannou, who finished 1-2 last year, won both of his tilts in 2019, knocking out Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos. The 33-year-old Ngannou, who last fought in June, has been asking for another bout for months.
