Daniel Cormier shared a humorous story earlier this week after he witnessed a Conor McGregor fan run into the Octagon at UFC 229 to check on the Irishman following his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The family of the fan, 41-year-old David Martin, watched the post-fight brawl on television and, based on the WhatsApp conversation he shared, they were equally shocked to see him in the Octagon.

At one point in the conversation, Martin's mother told him to "use (his) scouts training."
