Demetrious Johnson will defend his flyweight title against Henry Cejudo on August 4 in Los Angeles, California at UFC 227, the promotion announced Saturday.
It'll be a rematch of their April 2016 bout when "Mighty Mouse" defeated Cejudo (12-2) via first-round TKO. Johnson has won all three of his fights since, breaking the record for most consecutive title defenses (11) last October against Ray Borg. The 31-year-old is on a 13-fight winning streak and has yet to lose in the flyweight division.
Cejudo's 2016 loss to Johnson (27-2-1) was the first of his career. After losing to Joseph Benavidez by a split decision in his next match he's won two straight fights while showing drastic striking improvements.
