Conor McGregor continues to prove there is no such thing as bad publicity.

The Irishman rose seven spots to 18th on ESPN's annual World Fame 100 list for 2018 after a year in which he pulled in over $100 million for a boxing fight with Floyd Mayweather and made global headlines by attacking a bus containing Khabib Nurmagomedov.

McGregor was the only MMA fighter to make the list, though he's still below Mayweather, who ranked 14th.

"Notorious" hasn't stepped inside the Octagon since November 2016, when he became the first fighter in UFC history to hold titles in two weight divisions simultaneously at UFC 205. However, he appears to be on a collision course with the undefeated Russian.
