Khabib Nurmagomedov holds all the cards in the lightweight division now and he's not just going to show them to any Irishman who throws a dolly at a bus.

Nurmagomedov says he wants to go on a world tour for his next fight - which he hopes is at Madison Square Garden - but now that he holds the belt, he wants McGregor to come to him, throwing one of the Irishman's barbs back in his face.

"I'm here. He want to become lightweight champion? He have to fight with me," Nurmagomedov told reporters, according to Mike Bohn and Ken Hathaway of MMAjunkie. "No more all these fake champions.

"You guys remember when he put tweet, 'Beg me'? Please beg me."

Though the newly crowned champion called for a fight with UFC legend Georges St-Pierre after winning the lightweight belt Saturday night, Nurmagomedov later acknowledged that the 36-year-old Montreal native may never return to the Octagon. At the post-event press conference, however, he admitted that he's keen on sorting out the feud with Conor McGregor - even if it's not a sanctioned fight.

"We have to finish this beef, chicken, or something like this," Nurmagomedov told reporters, according to Mike Bohn and Ken Hathaway of MMAjunkie. "(McGregor) have to stop eating Burger Kings. You want to fight? Come. I told you guys, I'm going to make him humble. I'm going to change his game. Now only one champion.

"No more fake champions, no more champion who never defend his title or something like this. Now UFC has champion, and this champion wants to defend his title. You want to fight? Come here. Inside the cage? Come. Outside the cage? Come. Let me know without camera, without like all this media."
