Condit planning November or December return

"The Natural Born Killer" will strike again.

After losing his last two fights since returning from a 16-month layoff, Carlos Condit intends to make his way back to the Octagon in November or December, his management told ESPN's Brett Okamoto, though he didn't tag a potential opponent.

Condit (30-12) had posted to Instagram after his most recent loss in April to share that he wasn't sure where his future would lead him.

"I don't know what's next guys," wrote Condit. "I still love this game, and most days I still feel that fire, I absolutely love what it do, but maybe my time has passed. I don't know the answer."

The 34-year-old hasn't quite looked like himself since losing to then-welterweight champ Robbie Lawler via split decision in a bloody war at UFC 195 in January 2016. The former WEC welterweight champ has dropped bouts to Demian Maia, Neil Magny, and Alex Oliveira in his last three contests and has a 2-7 record in his last nine.
