Bravo breaks Puelles down to win 'The Ultimate Fighter'
Martin Bravo became the latest winner of "The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America" in emphatic fashion at UFC Fight Night 98 on Saturday in Mexico City.
Showing off the well-rounded game that made him the top pick of coach Forrest Griffin on the latest international edition of the long-running reality series, Bravo used slick boxing to counter Claudio Puelles' takedown attempts and set up a TKO finish in the second round.

With the win, the 23-year-old Bravo laid claim to the TUF: LA 3 lightweight tournament trophy and a six-figure contract with the UFC. His first win in the Octagon keeps him undefeated in 11 professional fights.

Puelles never got started in this one. As his wrestling became gradually less effective, Bravo was content to cut him up with short hooks and uppercuts. Bravo was the fresher man in Round 2, and he eventually cornered Puelles to set up the combination of body shots that left the Peruvian crumpled on the mat.
