Colorado Rapids scrape out narrow victory over 10-man Toronto FC
Toronto FC lost its second consecutive match, falling 1-0 to the Colorado Rapids after going down a man early in the match.
Rapids forward Luis Solignac scored the only goal of the game in the 15th minute of play, just three minutes after Toronto midfielder Benoit Cheyrou was shown the exit via a second yellow-card ejection.
Two yellow cards in two-ish minutes for Cheyrou. Didn't think the first foul merited a yellow. The second was silly for a guy on a yellow.

Head coach Greg Vanney was forced into making a tactical shift as a result, putting Jonathan Osorio into the match to replace Dan Lovitz. The TFC boss also reintroduced Jozy Altidore into the team in the second half, replacing Mo Babouli making his debut.
But while the Reds seemed to get back into a rhythm in the second half, the Rapids were more than content to sit back and absorb the opposition's pressure, creating a number of dangerous chances on the counter.
In the end, a Sebastian Giovinco free kick late in the match was as close as Toronto came to finding an equalizer.
The Reds now face another four away games before returning to BMO Field on May 7 to face FC Dallas.
