Former Real Salt Lake forward Yura Movsisyan is set to return to Rio Tinto Stadium as the parties have reportedly agreed to terms on a transfer out of Spartak Moscow, according to Christopher Kamrani of The Salt Lake Tribune.
The 28-year-old played for Real Salt Lake from 2007-2009, helping guide the team to the 2009 MLS Cup. Movsisyan, an Armenian international, has since bounced around at Danish outfit Randers and in Russia, but is set for an MLS return.
Movsisyan's agent, Patrick McCabe, told the Tribune that discussions between the teams are under way, but added there's not "anything final" just yet.
With Salt Lake City, Movsisyan scored 16 goals in 60 total appearances.
