Seattle Sounders set MLS attendance record

A Decision Day 3-1 win over Real Salt Lake thanks to a Clint Dempsey first-half brace to secure fourth spot in the West was just the first bit of good news for the Seattle Sounders, as it was announced Monday the Cascadia club also set a new MLS average attendance record.
Seattle's CenturyLink Field saw an average attendance of 44,245 per match, boasting the highest single-match number with an astounding 55,435 people through the turnstiles for Sunday's victory over Real Salt Lake.
