Gordon pulls Galaxy to draw with Rapids

CARSON, Calif. - Alan Gordon's header in the 75th minute helped the Los Angeles Galaxy salvage a 1-1 draw with the Colorado Rapids on Saturday night.
Stefan Ishizaki's served up a bending kick from the right corner for Gordon. The Galaxy (3-2-4) extended their unbeaten streak at StubHub Center to 27 games - including all competitions - and outscored their opponents 64-18 during that span.
Colorado's Gabriel Torres opened the scoring in the 40th minute when he raced behind the defense and slotted the ball past goalkeeper Jaime Penedo. Michael Harrington sprang the counterattack at midfield, sending Omar Gonzalez's errant pass into the empty field ahead of Torres.
It was the third straight 1-1 draw for the Rapids (1-2-6).
