Watch: Lloyd Sam robs NYCFC defender blind to open scoring for D.C.

The term "Man on!" is very useful in the world of soccer, signaling that an opposition player is nearby and closing in on the ball. It's a shout New York City FC defender Maxime Chanot could have used as D.C. United attacker Lloyd Sam rushed up behind him Saturday.
Alas, Chanot either did not receive the warning or did not heed it, as Sam stripped him of the ball while he was retreating toward his goalkeeper, and slotted home the stolen possession with a left-footed nutmeg through Sean Johnson's legs.
The goal put a nice little mark on Sam's 100th career start in MLS, too.
