Watch: Pulisic revs up hype train, sets up Dempsey's goal in Panama
Clint Dempsey and Christian Pulisic are still leading the way.
On Tuesday, Dempsey and Pulisic combined forces to produce a goal out of nowhere in the United States men's national team's 2018 World Cup qualifier away to Panama. After Los Canaleros controlled the game's first half-hour, the American teenager turned Felipe Baloy inside out, held off Roman Torres, and put the ball on a plate for the USMNT's captain, who one-timed it past Jaime Penedo.
The goal marked Dempsey's 56th at the international level, putting him just one behind Landon Donovan, who holds the USMNT's all-time scoring record.
