There may be better times ahead for the Chicago Fire.
The Illinois outfit, which has finished ninth, 10th, and 10th in each of the last three seasons in the Eastern Conference, has fresh hope in Juninho - who bagged the beautiful opener in Saturday's friendly with Toronto FC - and new Designated Player Nemanja Nikolic.
The previous exhibitions have gone well for the Fire too, with triumphs over Florida Gulf Coast University, Philadelphia Union, Montreal Impact, Miami FC, and FC Cincinnati before March 4's season opener at the Columbus Crew.
