Watch: Atlanta United unintentionally reveals Almiron signing
@ATLUTD
Ahead of its first MLS campaign, Atlanta United has been busy signing players to fill out the roster, and in an attempt to create some suspense Saturday with its new No. 10, the North American top flight's 21st team may have let the cat out of the bag.
The expansion side posted a Twitter video showing a red strip being fitted for a No. 10 kit number without a name, though a few fans with discerning eyes noticed something amiss.
It would appear as if once-capped Paraguayan international midfielder Miguel Almiron is slated to become Atlanta's latest signing, with the 22-year-old joining Gerardo Martino's ranks after a season with Argentine top-tier side Lanus.
So much for surprises.
